We have been supplying 4-slide, coiling, secondary, and stamping parts to the aerospace, medical, automotive, HVAC, lighting, mining, and industrial industries since 1946. Spring Coiler Set-up and Operator
Position Summary
Produce helical springs and rings on spring coiling equipment.
Key Responsibilities
- Read and interpret drawings, quality plans, and work instructions.
- Set up coilers to produce parts according to a quality plan.
- Set up and operate spring coiling gages.
- Develop spring dimensions at the coiler necessary to achieve the finish drawing requirements.
- Make and sharpen spring coiling tools.
- Perform the first piece and in-process inspection while maintaining quality and process records.
- Move work and prepare move tickets, using the 2-pan system.
- Maintain equipment, work area, and process cards.
- Obey all safety regulations and comply with ISO 9001 Procedures and Work Instructions.
Required Skills & Qualifications
- 3-5 years of experience coiling springs
- Familiarity with measurement equipment (calipers, comparators, micrometers)
- Ability to lift 35 lbs

Key Responsibilities
- Read and interpret drawings, quality plans, and work instructions

- Able to design and make tooling and fixturing to create parts to requirements and dimensions
- Perform the first piece and in-process inspection while maintaining quality and process records
- Move work and prepare move tickets, using the 2-pan system

- Obey all safety regulations and comply with ISO 9001 Procedures and Work Instructions

4-Slide Set Up / Operator
Position Summary
The Fourslide Set Up / Operator is responsible for setting up, adjusting, operating, and troubleshooting 4-slide machines to produce precision metal components according to blueprints. This position ensures production efficiency, quality standards, and safe machine operation.
Key Responsibilities
- Set up 4-Slides to run production promptly according to the setup sheets and blueprints
- Install, time, and set the depth and location of tools and die sets
- Load raw materials (wire or strip stock) into the machine
- Monitor machine performance and make necessary corrections.
- Complete the first piece and in-process sheets by inspecting parts using measurement equipment.
- Operate machines during production run
- Troubleshoot mechanical and tooling issues
- Complete machine maintenance, and fill out the log (oil, grease)
- Work with toolmakers to improve/fix jobs
- Work with operators to ensure efficiency
- Keep work area clean and organized

Power Press Set Up / Operator
Position Summary
The Power Press Set Up / Operator is responsible for setting up, adjusting, and operating 5-45 ton power presses and secondary presses to produce metal components according to blueprints.
Key Responsibilities
- Set up power presses for production runs and secondary operations, including installation of dies and tooling
- Align, secure, and adjust dies to ensure proper operation
- Verify proper machine settings (shut height, feed, etc.)
- Perform first piece and in-process inspections
- Operate the power press during production runs, make necessary adjustments
- Oversee secondary operations in the department
- Inspect parts using measuring tools (calipers, micrometers, gauges, comparator etc.)
- Troubleshoot minor mechanical or tooling issues
- Work with toolmakers to ensure dies are sharp and running efficiently
- Perform routine maintenance and lubrication as required
- Maintain accurate production and quality records
- Follow all safety procedures
- Maintain a clean and organized work area
Required Skills & Qualifications
- Understanding of power press setup and operation
- Ability to read and interpret blueprints
- Knowledge of die setting and alignment procedures
- Familiarity with precision measuring equipment (calipers, micrometers, comparator)
- Mechanical aptitude and troubleshooting ability
- Strong attention to detail and quality control standards
- Knowledge of press safety requirements
